Dinner at Jyoti Bhatia's Home

On Wednesday evening we were invited to the home of Jyoti Bhatia for a traditional vegetarian Indian dinner.  As you would expect with anything involving Jyoti, the home was warm and welcoming.  Throughout the evening, we had the opportunity to meet and get to know the Board of Directors of the Society for Indian Children's Welfare and their family members and friends.  We would be visiting the Society's orphanage the next morning.  In addition to Jyoti, the Board consists of Dr. Zarin Dadina, Shirin Dastur, Swaran Chaudhry, Nishi Garg and Sarita Dhir.  The food was very interesting and very delicious, particularly the wonderful desserts, but what was especially enjoyable was spending time with these wonderful individuals that we had just met but that treated us like lifelong friends.
